Mr/Ms [name and surname], born in [place], country [country], on [date], nationality [nationality], ID document type [type] and number [number], address [address], city [city], postcode [postcode], country [country], phone [number], mobile [number], email [email], IBAN [IBAN], account name [name], bank [bank], hereinafter referred to as “the Beneficiary”.
WHEREAS
01 · UVEG coordinates the project entitled “AI supported and enhanced creativity for the triple transition” (in short AI-SECRETT), co-funded by the Digital Europe Programme of the European Union (project number 101226207);
02 · In the framework of that project, on 1 October 2026 UVEG launched, on behalf of the AI-SECRETT consortium, a Cascade Funding Call – identified as AI-SECRETT-FSTP-CALL-01-2026 (henceforth: The Call) – aimed at providing financial assistance to deserving participants in the AI-SECRETT online master’s programme, reducing the economic barriers to their participation in the high-quality extracurricular activities (summer/winter schools, thematic workshops, intensive training events, etc.) linked to that programme;
03 · The Beneficiary presented an application to The Call by the cut-off date of [date] and was provisionally awarded a grant of the maximum amount of Euro [amount] for his or her participation in the following extracurricular activity or activities of the AI-SECRETT project: [activity or activities];
04 · The full text of the Beneficiary’s application is attached as Annex I to this Agreement;
05 · The full text of The Call is attached as Annex II to this Agreement;
06 · It is now necessary to specify the terms and conditions for the Beneficiary to be paid by UVEG against the submission of the needed information and documentation according to the provisions of The Call.
Now, therefore, in consideration of the foregoing and annexes, which form an integral and substantial part of this Agreement, the Parties, as above referenced, hereby stipulate and agree as follows:
SCOPE AND PAYMENT · ARTICLES 1–4
The purpose of this Agreement is to specify the documentation to be prepared by the Beneficiary in order to receive the payment of the awarded grant, the deadline for presentation and the other terms and conditions derived from the provisions of The Call, including if and when relevant, those regulating partial payments and the revocation of the awarded grant.
In order to receive the payment, the Beneficiary must submit the following documents:
In accordance with The Call, the Beneficiary’s enrolment or acceptance in the activity cannot be dated earlier than 1 October 2026, and only expenses realised after the date of submission of the Beneficiary’s application are eligible.
In case the currency is not Euro, UVEG will apply the exchange rate of the date of presentation of the documentation.
For the avoidance of any doubt, the Beneficiary will receive from UVEG:
UVEG reserves the right of rejecting some or all of the documentation received, therefore also reducing the amount to be paid, as specified in Article 5 below.
UVEG will pay the amount due by bank transfer to the IBAN indicated by the Beneficiary, after approving the documentation listed in Article 2 above.
Under special and duly justified conditions, to be assessed on a case-by-case basis, UVEG can transfer a part of the above amount to the Beneficiary before receiving the full and complete documentation as per Article 2 above.
This circumstance does not lift the Beneficiary’s duties as per Article 2 above and exposes him or her to the same consequences in case of rejection of the documentation, as per Article 5 below.
DOCUMENTATION AND DEADLINES · ARTICLES 5–8
In the following cases, UVEG reserves the right of rejecting the documentation received, wholly or in part, and therefore not proceeding with the transfer of the full amount calculated as per Article 3:
In case of partial rejection, UVEG will recalculate the amount to be transferred to the Beneficiary and act accordingly.
In light of the reporting duties of UVEG within the framework of the AI-SECRETT project, the late submission of the required documentation may be interpreted as lack of interest from the Beneficiary’s side.
Therefore, UVEG reserves the right of not considering any documentation received 12 months after the signature date of this Agreement, or the closure of the underlying extracurricular activity, whichever is the latest, including for the case of resubmission described in Article 7 below.
Within the term indicated in Article 6, it is acceptable that the Beneficiary submits the documentation mentioned in Article 2 in more than a single batch, including upon request of UVEG, in case of incomplete, unclear or unreadable documentation.
In those circumstances, UVEG reserves the right of effecting a partial payment as per Article 4 above.
PRIVACY AND ACCOUNTABILITY · ARTICLES 9–13
Both parties agree to consider any information exchanged under the provisions of this Agreement as subject to business confidentiality.
UVEG shall adopt all necessary and/or appropriate measures to ensure that the confidentiality obligations are strictly observed by all of its employees and collaborators, and shall be directly liable for any damages caused to the Beneficiary, within the limits established by Article 1107 of the Spanish Civil Code.

Data protection rights can be exercised by writing to UVEG’s Data Protection Officer at lopd@uv.es.
In partial derogation of Article 9 provisions, the Beneficiary acknowledges that his or her name, country and the amount of the awarded grant may be made public by UVEG and by the European Commission, as required by the Grant Agreement of the AI-SECRETT project and by the applicable legislation, for transparency reasons.
The Beneficiary is fully aware of the criminal, civil and administrative liability arising under Spanish law from making false statements or submitting false documents, and declares, under his or her own responsibility, and pursuant to the provisions of Article 69 of Spanish Law 39/2015 on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, that the information and documentation provided to UVEG is true and accurate.
The Beneficiary may withdraw from this Agreement at any time after its signature, by sending a written communication to UVEG.
UVEG may withdraw from the Agreement in case of not receiving any documentation within the term indicated in Article 6 above, by sending a written communication to the Beneficiary, without the possibility of an appeal.
Termination will occur by default in case of false statements, contrary to the commitment undertaken by the Beneficiary in Article 11 above. The Beneficiary will be notified in writing and will have 30 days to oppose the decision.
Should the Beneficiary be asked to return the amount received as partial or full payment according to the provisions of this Agreement, he or she will be liable to pay default interest pursuant to Article 38(2) of Spanish Law 38/2003, the General Law on Subsidies, in the amount set by the applicable legislation on public subsidies.
