The AI-SECRETT project, led by the University of Valencia and co-funded by the European Union with €7.2 million under the Digital Europe Programme, sets out to empower Europe’s creative future through artificial intelligence.
AI-SECRETT ambitiously aims to foster advanced digital skills and human-centric innovation through artificial intelligence (AI). With €7.2 million in co-funding under the Digital Europe Programme, this four-year project is designed to train a new generation of digitally skilled professionals capable of driving Europe’s digital, green, and social transitions.
Bridging AI and Human Creativity
AI-SECRETT will deliver a comprehensive educational programme that combines a fully online joint master’s on AI for Creativity with shorter modular and micro-credential-based trainings. The curriculum integrates technology and creativity to support the Digital, Green, and Social transitions across seven EU industries, particularly within the cultural and creative sectors.
Advanced
Digital Skills
Equip professionals and learners with hands-on expertise in AI technologies—especially in generative and predictive AI—that are relevant across industries.
Creative
Empowerment
Develop learning pathways that foster ideation, design, and problem-solving through the support of AI tools, particularly in the cultural and creative sectors.
Human
Centric
Promote the ethical and inclusive use of AI by embedding societal values, sustainability goals, and policy alignment in all educational content.
Cross-Sector
Collaboration
Encourage synergies between academia, industry, policy makers, and cultural practitioners to co-create meaningful, scalable learning solutions.
While generative AI plays a key role in the content development—especially in areas like art, music, design, and storytelling—the project also incorporates data-driven AI approaches such as predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and decision-support tools.
AI SECRETT project has been awarded the European Commission’s Quality Label, recognising it as a high-quality proposal in a highly competitive evaluation process. It contributes to the objectives of the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP), following evaluation by an international panel of independent experts.
AI-SECRETT builds upon a broad European alliance of institutions committed to responsible and creative uses of Artificial Intelligence. The network combines academic excellence with real-world expertise from industry, regional governments and cultural institutions.
